The Centre
for Political Communications Research (PKK) was established
in the Institute for Political Science of the Hungarian Academy of
Sciences (IPS of HAS) in 2005. The PKK carries
out research
in the following fields:
• political campaigns
• governmental communication
• communication and civil society
• electronic democracy
• the relation of politics and mass communication
• political marketing and public relations
• political images
• the European Union as a public sphere Our aim is to carry out analyses in the above fields on a strictly scientific
basis. Our work is mainly comprised of empirical research, but we carry
out theoretical research as well.
Three colleagues are employed in the IPS, and thus count as permanent
colleagues of the PKK: Zsolt Boda, Balázs Kiss and Zsuzsanna Mihályffy.
Several colleagues, however, take part in our work for just one or two
projects.
The Research
Centre edits the Political
Communications book series, published
by L´Harmattan. |
